If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Lindy, our reproductive system is rife with TNF-a. I wonder if it goes hyperactive during our periods, too. Hmmm.
Hugs,
Kat

Made me realise what an easy life you females have, (Pampered, wealthy, cared for waited upon etc) and what a terrible grim hard life we poor men have......goodness you are lucky to be girls...

I definitely noticed a connection with my cycles, but until meeting you ladies, I never had anyone quite understand my experience to a T like you all. Oh, and once "she" shows up, I feel drained like a wet noodle for a week. But the inflammation is gone!
Haven't had to experience this in a while due to chemo induced menopause. Can't say I'm missing it.

Count me in - Was reading an article on auto-immune in June Self magazine. Says that Estrogen is being studied for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Looked it up online - docs have found if they replicate the hormone levels of pregnancy in non-preg mice, that they don't develop inflammatory arthritis when given something that induces it. 'Things that make you go hmmm.'
And for you men out there - google hormones and AS - the last time I did that (because of my obvious connection with arthritis flares and my cycle), a medical article popped up about Men with AS have off-kilter hormones (my words not theirs, but you get the gist). pretty interesting...
take care mary cay

Hi Alan, Imagine my chagrin when I find Kevin in the Woman's forum, and you in the NO boys allowed forum. What's happening here. I think I'm losing my mind. Or maybe it's already gone. Keep up the good work.

Hey Mary Cay, yah, that seems to hold true for women with RA. Problem is, it doesn't always for women with AS. One of the only studies seemingly ever done on AS in women talked about the effect of pregnancy. Not all women with AS feel better during pregnancy. It's kind of catch-as-catch-can. Kind of like everything else with AS. So, while some women with AS might do better with Estrogen therapy, others wouldn't necessarily. And then there are all the issues surrounding hormone therapy in general. It's a real unknown. Just some further thoughts. Hugs,
Kat

fear not Dean for you find me here serving, honourably. In my new post of honorary senior chief boss mod (Yet to be confirmed and the green tee shirt provided-I am hopeful)to ensure that these ladies whilst in the midst of emotional and physically driven debate, do not transgress the boundaries of:
C.L.A.M.
(Cackling-Loudly-At Men)
So far, they all have and as such I am in the process of issuing the appropriate warrants!! But apparently I have to be wearing the tee shirt when I swear the oath of Miggyness.
Anyway I hope that clears up any suggestion of inappropriate motivation as to my presence with these here wimmen!!!
