If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

can avoiding certain foods (eg starch) help reduce/eliminate benign cysts within the body?

my wif has them (the ovarian ones). as far as we found out from her doctor they are more like an inflamatory reaction related somehow to a pre-diabetic state.
Even her medication is a common one for diabetics. And she doesn't have any diabetical symptoms.
Who knows, since eliminating sugars is one of the diabetics priorities, NSD, wich is low in carbs, may help. But that is just a guess. NSD does not sounds to me like some cure-all diet.
But better see an endocrinologist for those.

thanks for the reply. wife and i just found out from MRI & testing this was reason for recurrent miscarriage (well at least the last one of 7)from fertility clinic specialist. I was reading on the internet diet can cure them - but we dont want to pay 50 bucks for a book that's likely to be a load of pinata or have NSD recipes anyhow. I found another diet called Endometrosis Diet (Endo Diet) that claims to cure/help this threw diet, and again without buying the book, from the last post i made the website link, that from the surface (besides the carrots) looked exactly like the NSD. we are going to have to do IVF, i do know that - but as far as food goes they just point you in the direction of the dodgy food pyramid that kellogg's designed. we did go see a naturapath for help, but she just she eat what ya want and buy these 5 different bottles of herbs so she gets a cut.

@ jet. my wife has same miscarriage problems. there are related 100 % to cystic ovars. it seems that adrenal (suprarenal) glands begin to function inadequately. anyway it's an immunologic disease also, just like ours... my wife is already on a sort of LSD, because of me. Don't know if it helps, I started just 4 months ago, but i too had a feeling that NSD (or some similar diet) will help her. @ sue, sorry to hear this too, seem your immune functions are all messed up

99% sure they are just normal benign cysts. have been monitoring them, one side or the other always seems to be hidden so have to keep monitoring them. had the blood work to look for the ovarian cancer marker and my numbers were really good, so not really concerned, but do continue to monitor.
pretty low sugar diet. diabetes on both sides of my family. sugar always bothered me from the time i can remember. last few years cut way back on complex carbs as well. that second change has made a big difference to my blood glucose and triglyceride levels. walking just about every day is also helping in those areas. actually count my sugar grams when i eat, try to make sure i don't get more than 6 or 7 grams of sugar in any one meal, sometimes i'll have double that if i've eaten enough protein and fat to go along with it. but sugar is everywhere: from ketchup to pickles, fruit juices to yogurt, even plain yogurt has lactose, so have to read labels and be really vigilant about the sugar.

they are benign yes. they can also be kept under control with propper medication.
anyway you both - sue and jet's wife sould be seing an endocronologist (not a gynecologist - since their approach might be different) and start some treatment if necessary.
