If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

It works....for me, and no, I'm not worried about starving. I've still got plenty of fat reserves =p Hello Dean, I believe it is the same as following... but the old keyboard format. Tim

Chris, I'm glad to hear you're feeling so much better during your fast. I have hypoglycemia, so a full fast would be dangerous for me, but I'm always happy to hear when someone is having success with something. Dean and Tink, I think =p is meant to be but I'm not certain. Hugs,
Kat

Good for you Chris, I can't tell you how glad we all are that it works for you. Any one who manages to overcome the AS monster is a winner in my book. Are you still taking any meds? Can you help me out, I didn't get the =p, Probably some icon that us oldies don't understand. I googled it and couldn't find it anywhere. Help??? I haven't taken one pill since I started the NSD, which was about a month and a half ago. I used to pop Ibuprofen like candy, along with Lorcets when I could get my hands on them. NSD really helps, but fasting....oh my God I can't believe how good I feel right now. I was on my hands and knees for hours today fixing my lawnmower and replacing tires on it. Doing that would have been impossible a month ago. Once I break this fast I'm going to try and convince my doctor to put me on one round of antibiotics. I haven't been diagnosed with AS yet, but I'll try to convince him to do it for my IBS. I've hardly taken any antibiotics in my life, so I'm confident they'll work well. One more little added benefit is the weight-loss. I'm as trim now as I've ever been in my adult life, and I've always been a little overweight...ok ok at times more than a little =p (=

Four days and I can sneeze again! It feels so great to let one out! It's been over two years since I've been able to do that.
I did cheat a little today with 1 tsp of honey, 1 tbsp of grape seed oil, and 1 tbsp of flax oil. It seems like it's given me a huge energy boost.

DANGER DANGER!
Chris--NO HONEY!
After a few days fasting we get into a "diet-induced hypoglycemia" state and sugar can be almost deadly! After only four days it is probably safe, but not something that You should do, despite the potential boost!
I'll send You the chapter on fasting, if You want. Going much longer and You will need to know the best way to break the fast--caution is required.
Glad it has worked so well for You--it took me so long to get rid of the costochondritis and I sneeze freely now, too! You are healing Your gut, taking down AS, and maybe cleaning out some circulatory junk (plaque perhaps)--all great benefits of the fast and I hope You will continue to improve.
I always WISH I had known back then--when I only had fasting--what to eat and what to avoid!
Good luck with the rest of it and PLEASE be careful, John

I would appreciate it, and I'll avoid the honey. How about oils? I've noticed that taking a tsp or tbsp of grape-seed oil, flax-seed oil, or olive oil really controls the hunger.
I was planning on breaking the fast with a few grapes to start, but I'll read up on it first.
