A rake in the hand is better than... I just might give up.

I read John's post actually a couple of times. It seemed so tame to me I couldnt find anything in it inflammatory. I think people, perhaps from a history between them and John, look for whatever they want to feel "attacked". How pathetic.

I am a health care professional. I see the extreme limitations in the medical field particularily in dealing with chronic diseases. At times we harm more then help. We have conditioned society to believe whatever the doctor says must be true and must be the best form of treatment.

Food is something science/doctors/drug companies have very little interest in. There's not a lot of money to be made there. I think a lot of doctors feel very threatened with people who can put togeather a treatment plan involving food. It's simply beyond there understanding and training. And food is very very dear to people. It's a huge change to go to NSD. Believe me I am speaking from experience. I find it rather easy now but I love dicipline and I love anything that works in treating my disease.

This website has something for everyone. I have very little use for most of it outside of the treatments and diet. I find most people enable each other to drown in the sorrows of there disease. Some people call that support. To each there own.

Keep up the fine work Dragonslayer and others. Whatever you have to present do it with your passion and conviction. I will determine for myself wether I accept it for myself. I am my own doctor and stewerd of my ship.
