Great Lon.

This came from a book I read and I agree with it...

Tears and **** that come with pain are the rain and fertilizer that make the soul grow.

Can't remember the name but it was a book on living with Lupus.
Wish I could give her credit.

I pray for you some relief.

Hugs.

Loninator!
it is worth it, this life we lead with AS! and you are an inspiration, to all of us despite our differences of opinion on things other than AS...you rock!!

I too can tend to react, rather than be proactive in dealing with life, due to pain, but have been trying to change...the past several years on Enbrel have given me a new lease on a pain free life...am crossing my fingers it will continue...

I think, or hope, that people who have been through pain in life are more suited to counsel other people about pain in life...physical, mental, etc. You are doing that with a group of people that other people shun...criminals, so to speak...you are there for them when they might not have anyone to talk to...who will listen...that is a great thing, a gift perhaps, not everyone would do that...

Peace

I agree with everyone else..sometimes I ask myself why I am still here but then I always know that there are many others worse off than me and that I need to count my blessings!

Hugs,

Lisa

Lon, as usual, you have given us more thought provoking musings.

My answer is a resounding, "YES!!"

The dance of life...sometimes it's the Minuet; sometimes, it's the Chicken Dance. It's always worth dancing.

I love this place too, Bre'er Lon. For people like you.
