this is the context i've written.
you are right, but if you will read "breaking the vicious cycle" - you'll understand what i said and why i said it (regarding the celiac disease)

UC curently in remission since feb 2011.
AS/USpA remission march-aug 2011. Flare - sept-nov 2011 (antibiotics). Remission now...

Modified NSD/SCD. Cook your own !

as far as i remember you posted somewhere that u have 3 editions of the book in your library.

Can you post an example or a scan about the complete food contains of some food? lets take garlic or banana's for example.
So that i can get the picture about the book and decide if it does worth the money and the proces of ordering it from UK?

For a banana the following are listed, amount per 100g of food samples

water, total nitrogen, protein, fat, carbohydrate, energy value

starch, total sugars, glucose, fructose, sucrose, maltose, lactose, dietary fibre, (fatty acids) saturated, mono-unsaturated, poly-unsaturated, cholesterol

(inorganic constituents) Na, K, Ca, Mg, P, Fe, Cu, Zn, Cl, Mn, Se, I

(vitamins) retinol, carotene, D, E, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, trypt60, B6, B12, folate, pantothenate, biotin, C

In all some 1235 foods and food products listed.

Thank you bilko! this book seems to me like a must have book. At least for the first year into the diet.

another questions for more experimentated dieters:
did you encountered problems (gut problems or back inflmation) if you mix vegetables and fruits on the same table? (i am talking about allowed fruits and vegetables)
