If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Please would someone be kind enough to explain to me in very, very simple layman's terms..!!..how to take a section of what someone says and plonk it into your reply so it's in one of those lovely looking boxes?!

Have tried fiddling around with various hair-brained schemes and nothing doing!!

while kevin's method would work as well, you might find it easier to hit the quote button instead of the reply button!

Strangely, Kevin great minds think alike!
In my desperation and lack of techological know-how, I have not yet ruled out this option!
I love how you always respond to my technical problems with the least amount of technical answers possible!!!!

Once again your genius amazes me!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

For the simplest method - Sue's suggestion will work but will quote the person's 'entire' post.

If you only want to quote one part/sentence/or section, copy/paste it into the reply box and then surround it with the code for quoting...

eg:
inside the brackets of code should be the part/sentence/section of type that you want to show up in the lovely looking quote boxes
OR

Do not use the quick reply box but instead click the 'Reply button' under any individual's post and on the following screen, in the menu that starts with a smilie graemlin on the left, copy/paste and highlight the sentence you want quoted and click the bolded " quotation mark button 5th from the right.

Hope this made sense!

Hope this made sense!

Well, let's see...

(hmm, it seems "sense" is a relative term)
