If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Good news - dad and kitty are improving a little. I'm so thankful for that. If you ever get a good video of Mookie doing something crazy, let us know. Too bad he's camera shy. lol As for doctors, the next appointment I can get with any specialist is my hematologist - in April. So, I have alot of hurry-up-and-wait to do. Not good. I had a really, really bad night last night, and am still not so good - I'd go to the ER if I thought they'd do anything, but I'm pretty sure it would be like any other trip there - I'd be getting the all-in-your-head thing again. Argh.

how about this one: control-option-command-8
Nice! Another trick learned. Feel free to pass on any other tips and tricks - I'm not much of a techie and still getting used to this mac. I wish I could get my laptop screen just a bit dimmer than the dimmest setting. The easiest thing for me to do is turn the about 45 degrees. Then it's not shining in my face. Although, it's a laptop, so then turning my wrists 45 degrees to type is tricky. lol

Hello, Megan. It has been a long time since I last visited here. I certainly hope your father is improving.
Take care. Cara

It is not the ladies' fault. The onus is on us guys to stop trying to fix everything all by ourselves.
See ya,
Craig

Well I'm a day late and a dollar short as it so often seems to be lately but I wanted to add my voice to the many who hope you and your loved ones pull through (kitty included of course).
You have so much on your plate right now, I feel badly for you. So much pain and uncertainty. From what I've seen of you over the past couple of years, I know you will eventually be just fine.
I'm really glad to see that you aren't the type to withdraw and that you carry on with the things that mean so much to you. Good on you.
Hoping things turn around for you soon, you deserve a break.
Chris

Ah Chris. I might disappoint you now... think you may have spoken too soon. But I really appreciate you believing in me.
I stopped working and more importantly - I dropped out of my masters. Close to the end too, but even with a couple of medical extensions, I've run out of time, according to them. I could probably fight it, not sure if it would get me anywhere, but I don't have the energy anyway. If I did find a way to get lawyers involved and got another extension, they'd probably be so ticked off at me, they might fail me at my thesis defense anyway (and trust me, I have seen them fail people out of spite before - had I known about the inside politics within our dept, I never would have started here in the first place).
I've been looking into course-based, online programs (ie Athabasca), but I'm not sure if online programs are as recognized as traditional brick and mortar universities, even though they seem like just as much hard work.
I also need to find some sort of part time, work-from-home kind of work, because since I've dropped out of school, I am now in repayment phase for my massive school loans. I never know when/if I'll be able to work some days, so I need a very flexible job. Good luck, hey? BC loans just got rid of their loan remission program for students with disabilities - although I don't think I'd ever get labelled a "permanent" disability because no one really knows what I'm dealing with in the first place. I'd happily pay off my loans if I could actually get in to a doctor who cares enough to try to find out (for certain) what's wrong with me, so I can start some kind of treatment, and work again. Oh - and this is good - I just got a letter from Alberta Health saying I've maxed out my medication limit for the year already, so even if I could find a treatment, I wouldn't be able to afford it if I don't find an income, and fast. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!!! Argh.
