If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Donette - just read in another post from Dragonslayer that raw carrots should be fine! i'm currently feelinglike poop - i ate turnip greens yesterday at a restaurant, they had diced turnips in them. I picked them out, but the stuff was stewing in them - and other things going on too - but when i get backoon track look forward to trying carrots again.
susan - i'll admit when i make the coconut flour muffins I do not take time to make the baking soda/cream of tartar mix and just add a couple of teaspoons of baking soda straight. seems okay this way if you don't have cream of tartar on hand. good luck

hello all...
I was thinking of making a Thai (ish) chicken soup for dinner tonight... chicken broth, coconut milk, chicken, lime juice and maybe some spinach....and scallions for garnish... anyone know if chili oil is ok?
Yesterday was our anniversary and I made Dan poached eggs on bacon and avocado with hollandais (sp?) sauce..... yummy!
I'm trying to keep it interesting.... but it's hard!

Hey susan - yum - i don't know about chili oil hopefully someone will chime in, i've run into problems with chicken broth - most have said to only use homemade, but i've found Kitchen Basics brand doesn't make me worse. Please post recipe in the recipes forum! i've wanted to make hollandaise but just haven't taken the time, you've sparked my appetite tho.

Hi Susan,
to make your own starch free baking powder just mix 2 parts cream of tartar with 1 part baking soda.
Hope your hubby makes the improvement he is hoping for on the diet.

Hi Susan and Welcome, You should be OK with the chilli oil. Adding some fish sauce would be OK too - it tests negative with iodine, and I use this in most of my Asian-inspired meals. I have just started to use some tamari as well, as there is no wheat in it, unlike soya sauce. Oh, BTW - I have Thai holy basil growing like a weed in my garden ATM - you want some? I'll bring it with me when I come for that delicious sounding soup!

Yes, I remember I had a shake mix that really bothered me. John was told me the same thing and sure enough, he was right! Jan

What about mushrooms? Sauteed mushrooms...like say...shitake mushrooms and portabellos...?
I'm having trouble finding the iodine. I did find a little tincture... but even when I dropped some on some wheat flour...it didn't turn black! Does it need to be pure?

Susan, I think mushrooms are OK. Anyone have any opinions otherwise?? My iodine is called povidone iodine, from my drugstore/pharmacist. It was next to peroxide for wound care. LDN Note*********** Hey all, I will post this in general forum too but in the LDN January Newsletter it stated that it is SO important to be getting good nutrition (supplements) in order for the LDN to have its maximum benefit. I only recently started good supplementation and that could very well be why I'm still hurting. I know this is a no-brainer for most of you all, but my brain doesn't think clearly when I'm in constant pain! Doh! (courtesy of Homer Simpson)

Ok...check this out.... Dan was just soooooo hungry tonight... wanted something "substantial" ...(apparantly a steak isn't???) ... I made this
Salmon Croquettes
3 cans of canned wild salmon 2 eggs 2 sauteed onions 4 scallions chopped salt pepper garlic powder coconut flour
Saute chopped onions in olive oil
beat up the eggs and season w/ salt, pepper and garlic powder (i would have used fresh garlic but I was lazy and rushing)
mix in salmon
mix in onions
mix in scallions
mix in coconut flour till it holds together
fry in olive oil until golden
They were YUMMY and easy.

Mushroom is OK.. But is it OK to cook mushroom? Actually i don't know which group mushroom is included? Is it vegetables?
I just want to add Candida diet today to get more relieve because as far NSD work for me but the there is still some pain and stiff. But i want to learn it more. And i read that i must remove fruit, but i confuse about coconut. Is it fruit group or nut group? I love to eat coconut. And anyone know why must i remove vinegar in Candida? I don't think it contain sugar.
