Hey we do what we have to do.....I know I work extra long hours but, yes, my body is saying ENOUGH....well mostly my feet.

Joyce,
I have thought of Uric acid (gout) but I don't think it's that kind of pain. It's still swollen and red but not quite as bad. The reason I dont think it is is because that foot/toe/side of my foot has bothered me for many many years. I always say it started after 'Rollerama'77' (lol) We skated for 3 days straight raising money for something....
Anyways, I will see a doctor someday and see what's up.

I do need to work less but it's not possible. Foot pain is bad and I hope I have some relief soon.

You know, I don't have the kind of foot pain you do, but my rheumy has been watching the big toe joint on my left foot for a couple of years. It keeps getting bigger! And i have a habit of sitting with the soles of my feet on the edge of the coffee table. If I forget and put the base of my toes on the edge of the table, dear god it hurts when I take them off! I empathize mightily.
