Oh dear, yes, right you are Alan... my apologies Drew! We are glad you are with us and I'm sure you'll find lots of other kickers around your age to chat with. If not, their are loads of others here to help you figure out all the tricks to coping with AS. Alan is one of em!  (and Alan, you do not look 61 yet either, lol)

I have beautiful grand daughters about your age. Does that count?  I am old enough to be your grandmother but I will always be here to listen and share whenever you want to talk. I was dealing with pain when I was your age and had been diagnosed with RA for about 7 years. It really stinks to be young and want to do all of the fun things that I remember wanting to do and hurting too much to do them. Just make the most of every day. Find something to find joy in and keep a journal. That always helped me to be able to go back and see where I was and to see where I had gotten to.
