Hey LuLu and Lee and everyone....
Well it's not even a week yet since the shot. I'm being really careful not to count my chickens this time. I was so bummed and deflated after the 6 month wait and fail of the enbrel, but i def do feel a response. Haven't had any nsaids since last thursday. Missing just one of those usually results in head to toe pain/stiffness very very bad and immobile in otherwords. But guess what... none of this has occured. I almost feel good??!! Way less general AS pain and my SI's feel pretty good, walking at a bit of (wobbly) pace, can sorta bend over to pat my dog... so yeah.... somethings going on. Just don't want to be devestated by allergic complications or anything. Oh.. no difference in fused/damaged areas... but the val and endone is helping with that lots. So hopefully..(i wish i wish i wish.) humira works and i can keep those meds going to keep the damaged bits settled..... then i reckon i could probably and independently get on with my life!! Can't wait for summer and some tequila shots to celebrate!!! (Not countin chickens though)...thanks fo checkin.. hey lulu... fingers crossed for you... some people take months for a bit of response... and you could still be left with the mechanical damge and related pain... what do your xrays look like? keep us posted.....
Hey Lindy.... how's your Humira goin??
cheers gang hope yr all swell... i mean well.

Hi there,

For what it's worth, I've been on it for 3.5 months and it took 2.5 to kick in. I'm pleased with the results thus far.
You will def feel a difference when it comes.

Good luck!!!
