Get well soon... I am sure you will with rest and care and your good humour, but just wanted to say it.

Lon, where exactly did this small heart attach itself to you?

Hang in there.

“One final paragraph of advice: do not burn yourself out. Be as I am a reluctant enthusiast…a part time crusader, a halfhearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it… while you can. Oh Lon, I am so sorry to hear this! A heart attack is a very scary thing but thankfully it was not huge and you will now have the doc's full attention to get the care you need. I really hope you won't need surgery.

My brother had the same symptoms as you, sudden onset extreme fatigue where he just couldn't get up and get going, was too weak to pull himself up out of bed. He was rushed to ER and had a temporary pacemaker put in until they could figure out what was going on. His was heart failure. We only found out years later that his was due to atypical AS onset. He is alive and well, btw, and never needed a permanent pacemaker and the trouble never came back.

I hope you will get the best possible care and treatment you need, Lon, and give yourself permission to take a nice break until you are sure you are well again.

Hugs!!
