Well, folks: You haven't heard from me in a long time. Radon worked so well that I've been pretty much pain free for the past 9 months. A few aches and pains and some mild days were trumped with 200mg ibuprofen but I felt ten years younger - AS symptoms, anyway.

At the 11.5 month mark from my visit to Free Enterprise Radon Mine in Boulder, Montana last year, the symptoms came back, rather quickly. I immediately booked a flight and a rental car and here I am, starting day 1 of 10. 5 hours in the mines and I'm feeling the familiar burning of the eyes, sleepy...

I'm hoping Year 2 is as effective as Year 1! I'm very happy with radon therapy. I just wish it would help everyone as well as it's helped me.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Regards,

Brad

Did I say Randon? I meant, "Random". Sorry for the inconvenience. I guess that's what happens without a spell checker.

Brad...You are awesome! I started radon treatment later than you (age wise I mean) but no worries...every six months has become my routine. Really...What is 20 days a year of sitting in a lazy boy , reading, working on my laptop, and breathing low dose...given the fact that when I am done I feel like I can conquer the world. Small price I say.

You should see my backyard. I was in MT. 3 months ago w/ a plan because I knew I needed to redo my backyard this summer. Ive dropped the ground 5 inches w/a rototiller , put in 6 4' x 4' square garden boxes, in the process of laying a brick patio w/ an arbor and rose garden, a deck and a 30' x 50' rock garden w/ native plants. Try to tell me I could do that in my pre-radon days! All I could do was moan back then. Ewww...I don't even like to re-visit it in my mind! I'll send pics when I'm done.

Life is good. Say Hi to Pat and Burdette for me.

Aloha to you and yours...

Pam

Hi Brad,

I see you are posting. Will be very interested to hear your experience. Could you tell us how you feel? You mentioned your eyes are stinging. How long does that last?

Again, good luck to you.

Laurie

Hey Sonja, rather than sitting in a mine, some take to sitting on a beach! Here's a link to the low level radioactive beaches in Brazil, a bit closer to you than Montana:

Here's another interesting link. It sounds crazy, but I spent a couple of months reading and researching this, and it really does all back-up.
There's a really good book by Ed Hiserodt, called "Underexposed: what if radiation is actually good for you" and he backs up every single statement with research and real life events that you can search for yourself and back up.
