Cindy,
You are right. But I think it is in our nature to work and when we can we do. And it was so georgous up at the Lake.
I hope that your knee gets the care it should! It is so good to see you again.

Valerie,
You think I will live another 20 years?
Or just that new meds, or good clean living will have caused the pain to desist?

Kevin,
I hope you are doing well also.
Since I am alive, I will try to do something this afternoon. Knowing that I have to start nearly from scratch again.

Michael,
It is the decision to do something or not to do something that really builds character. I wish you the best. I have been in the office now 6 hours and I am miserable, I need to get out and walk.

Hey, Brer Lon!

Hope that you are doing better today.

We're away from home--extended stay here in San Diego at my father's house and had drain problems, so inspected the outside perimeter for the clean-out and discovered a Gordian Knot of pipes in the garage below.

Well, the one I needed to get at was seven feet up the wall and the cap did not want to budge! I was hopping over cars, wires, and tools to get at the propane, hammers, and various pliers and finally got the cap off but suddenly wished I hadn't. The deluge didn't knock me off the ladder, but the smell almost did! Whew!

And I was thinking, whenever I had time to do so...that I'm sure glad I don't feel like I used to feel, and can now do stuff and move most which ways and not regret it so much. I was really tired, but got the clog cleared and able to shower twice even without taking a bath, too.

That is my exercise for the week, and I deserve a trip to the health club now, but wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and although I cannot fast for you, or break bread with you, I know what you are going through and want to Thank You, for the reminder to stay on the straight and narrow!

There, but for fortune, eh what?

Hang in there,
John

Wow snow in June? Well take that as a good sign I guess, we know its not snowing in Hades!!

It has been a rough spring for me as well. Trying to push myself harder than I should to get this move executed, and trying to get things back to their usual state of mayhem. I have had my share of tears and sleepless nights. I did find that working with the kids in the golf program has given me some relief with the extra bit of walking. That and Flector patches keep the SI's in check.

Keep up your wonderful work Lon. The people of Gilette are blessed to have someone like you.

Chris,
Some day will spin a few tales.
Tell stories and then guess which ones are true.
I got a bit day trip for the guys / felons, Saturday. They always enjoy it so much. I have seen some amazing stuff. The golf sounds fun!
