If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

CC - I'm on 6mg. The 4.5 wasn't 'quite' doing it for me, so Dr L upped me to 6mg. Now find the benefit - works.
Sorry to hear about your depression.

Hey Molly and CC, how long have you been on LDN, before upping to 6 mg??
I've been on 4.5 for 10 weeks now. Less pain, but still quite bad off.

Hi Donette, I was on 2 mg for two weeks and have been on 4 mgs for about 6 weeks. If it's good enough for Molly, it's good enough for me. I'll start 6 mg tonight.
Hi Molly, Thanks!!

Have been on the 6mg for about 2yrs now: started 6mg afore I sold my house in UK. (Moving, animals, visiting the USA and horse riding are my bench marks!) 6mg works well for me. Dunno about being 'extra' prickly though...Hmmmmm. will need to ask friends.
Let's know how you get on with the 6mg CC. But cut back if needed. And, can always have a brief word with Dr L - he is sooo supportive. (That guy sure has earned a star studded star.)

Thanks Molly! What would be the signs of 'too much' to know I needed to cut back?

Hi C C and all
Depression has been a serious problem for me on LDN, along with early irritability, which Molly advised me on re Dr L's balance of iron as a possible cause.
I have always been a very positive thinking person; like instead of concentrating on what I 'cant' eat- Just enjoying so very much the wonderful salads and steamed veg that I 'can' eat.
This however has got me totally 'hopeless' and teary in just a few weeks and I am starting to resent my wonderful friends sharing their great life experiences with me. Could put it down to 'now' learning and understanding why 'happy' people irritate others !!!!
anyhoo, I 'know' I am not a miserable/depressed person by nature and I wonder if the 'turning off of endophins' that the LDN does (if I got it right) has taken my joy of life away.
One of the guys on the Yahoo LDN User group thinks I had the side affects of misery/hopelessness/irritability cos I was on too much at 4.5mg.
I know that my pain 'is' easing and my body 'is' healing on LDN, just dont know if loosing the joy of life is going to be too high a price to pay.
At 3mg and 4.5 I was sitting in a chair all day unable to make my bed, haven't changed my bed sheets for 3 weeks(YUK) - sleeping in the afternoon from 2pm - 6pm - its true. Its all I could do to wash a few dishes and push myself to shower....... yep pretty useless. Now that is NOT right and I just had to do 'something' anything. Thought going up to 4.5mg would push me thru, but it didnt.
Changing to daytime at 1.5mg has 'eased' the depression, but it is far from gone.
Sorry to moan on - If the depression doesnt go soon I will do LDN at 1.5mg every second day and see if that helps with the hopelessness.
PS: I am also thinking LDN is making me hungry as well............... or perhaps its depression making me go 'comfort' eating....... (so interesting)
