Hi Bridget, you are right i think i got sore throat from beer. But the thing is, i still have it for a week now... and i did not take any beer for a week....

Personally, my pain levels have not changed for over six months, if i get relief thats through pain killers and when the effect is gone, i feel like an old man crippled for every small movement.

Day 7, I changed the painkiller from NSAID to Cox-2 Inhibitor, but no change. Terrible night, little sleep, difficult morning. I am going to office an hour and half late everyday....

Day 8: I had to take mild anti-depressent (Tryptomer - 5 mg) to help me get better sleep. my nights are getting worse...

The question is: Would anti-depressents interact with LDN?

attention all!!
i sent a mail to Dr. Lawrence regarding my condition a few days back with a few questions. today i have got a reply.
he says that the solution i am using will become unstable within just couple of days and useless after that . he has sent a long list of ingredients to be added to make the solution stable( which i dont think will be found here easily). now my region doesn't have a compounding pharmacy.

i am making the solution as prescribed at lowdosenaltrexone.org. those ppl didn't mention about any preservatives. only simply mix the tablet in distilled water and then refrigerate it.

most intersting part is that i am experincing a lot of relief from ldn now (on day 18). all my headaches are gone. no fever .taking no painkillers now.
now what do i conclude. i am experincing a lot of relief while the doc says medicine is useless after 2 days?
strange things happening in life!!

one thing i learnt from Dr L : i will now onwards make solution only with half the tablet so that its more effective.it will last 5 days when on full dosage. i don't think it will get spoilt so early.

The suggestion given by Dr L is "You may also use LDN as a final treatment but I found the dietary and nutritional treatment almost entirely effective in resolving most symptoms of the condition". I am going thro the information sent by Dr. L.

Ankyspon - Unable to answer yr question re LDN and anti-depressents. I don't take anti-depressents.

I don't 'always' sleep that well, but when I don't, I don't let it worry me. Just lie there and 'doze' 'smile'. But when I do sleep, then I sure do sleep and sleep...!

Suggest you pose your question to Dr L. OK?

you make a pertinent point.... infact i was planning to go fo half tab at a time soln myself.... the expiry of the solution could be one of the reasons why its not helped so far but given you found relief by day 18, i am hopeful....
