LDN for me!!! She said she was not able to do any research on the subject and if I wanted to start all I would have to do is send her the 'recipe', doseage schedule, and the things to watch for during treatment!!

My hubby figured she was so impressed with my research & knowledge about health & these type of things that she is trusting me in this whole journey that she knows nothing about!!!!

I am in shock!!

on a side note... I went to my psych appt and the doc agreed that my mind is sane and it makes sense that my depression is secondary to my disease and it is in my record and it can be added to my disability rating. He also suggested I talk to my doc to get a consult to a larger VA facility for a second opinion & better care.... I'm not sure I'll do that because I've got the LDN care I want from my local doc!! I only need the VA to get the diagnoses in my paperwork... their use is not needed anylonger for me!! woohoo!!

Yes.. I am sooo glad I found an excellent civilian doctor to care for me outside the VA system! Sadly.. I have to pay out of pocket but my increased disability money with the VA will allow me to afford real.. ahem... better care!

My LDN was pretty cheap... ask for a probiotic filler rather than the starch filler in the capsules though (unless you're getting liquid). Fingers crossed for you!

Great Advice.. I was wondering what the options were but was going to ask for a starch-free filler....

Great news, Trudi! You must be so relieved to finally be making some progress. I'm glad you found a doctor who is willing to work with you.

Keep us posted on how you are doing on LDN.
