If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Megan,
CRUSTY yea!!! I have been Soooooo worried!
So if you are crusty does that mean you are healing and that the infection is going away?
Im so glad that Glen has been calling you (that is no surprise) he is such a wonderful man but of course Im biased I happen to think he is getting a precious, precious girl.
So maybe this means your trip will be a little more enjoyable, I hope so!
Hugs,
Lisa

He's been calling me and my docs for me, from another country - his cell roaming bills are going to be insane this month. Once the blisters (mine are pretty minor compared to what I've googled) crust over, then you're no longer contagious. Because of the enbrel/prednisone I was freaked out about them getting infected while they were open - that whole sepsis thread and all. lol But it seems that it's under control. Just the nasty sores in my throat that are the worst. By monday, I should be good to go! And I'm guessing I'll be healed enough to hit the swimming pool by the end of my trip. I hope. Now I just have to hope I don't get questioned at customs again for the loads of painkillers I'll be taking with me. lol

Gosh, I just saw this thread! I am so sorry you have to deal with that! I've had it 2 times.. 1st time in my last month of pregnancy.. I only had a few spots, lots of burning pain and my mind went kind of crazy..It seemed like I had spots in the inside of my skin.. I had bumpy things under, but nothing popped out. noise & stress really wacked me into a nervous & irritable mom... I think what saved me was the fact I was already taking antiviral/anticandida supplements (grapefruitseed extract) at the time to kill candida..
Other time I had it .. (or it was a drug rxn that took 3 weeks to go away, not sure...) but the itching was horrible & the mental pain was horrible too.. but no stinging pain and I had spots everywhere.. and on my neck but nothing higher.
I'm so glad you're progressing quickly thru this disease!! I completely understand your 'freaking out' part.. I think it's one of the symptoms...

Oh no, I freak out every time I get sick while on immune suppressants, this is nothing new. lol I have a whole host of immune stuff, besides AS, so that compounds my freaking-out nature. I'm so much fun. That would be awful to have this during pregnancy! OUCH! I can't imagine trying to orchestrate medications on top of dealing with being that pregnant. Gosh, you poor thing.

((MEGAN)) I am so sorry you have been dealing with this. My husband had shingles years ago on his face and head all around his only visioned eye. To this day occasionally they flare up. The dr. said that is not unusual for them to continue to flare. I hope yours don't. Crusty? and happy? I am so glad. Hugs and Blessings. Possi
