If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Thanks Sue...Hope you are doing well.
I'm ready for some "new" meds. After 2 years, the Vioxx is not cuting it.

Yes Krystyn, they told me that I would get the "real" drug when the test is over. They could not promise how long the med would be free. However, If it works.....the insurance company may not deny at a later date.

Hi Laura, I do not know how bad it has to be. But there are so many rating scales that have to be completed, that I am sure they look at it very closely. My AS is fair ...maybe moderate. It is getting worse by the day. The enbrel is none too soon.

Hi Mark, Nice to hear from you. I appear to be getting worse but with the Enbrel study, life is looking good.

Laura, Someone will surely correct me, if I'm wrong. But even for RA, they try NSAID's, then DMARD's. Enbrel or Remicade is usually prescibed only after you've exhausted all other options. Hugs, Cindy

I will return Monday for the missed x rays. The guy coordinating this stuff said that if I did not come back ASAP that they would not be able to send the info to the Enbrel people. (The Enbrel people have to respond and you have to get the meds within 14 days of the screening or else you have to do the screening again.!!) So off to the x ray machine I go. Hope to get news back and the first shot around Feb 21. Stay tuned for the latest so that we can compair notes. Also, I have had several other ASer's on the board from the Dallas area contact me. They too have hooked up with the study. Let's KICKAS Betty Edited by Betty on 02/10/02 10:57 PM (server time).
