I am taking Lexepro and that does seem to help on a daily basis. I am able to work, raise a family with little or no problems. My job requires me to drive from one customer's house to another. I would be fine when I was with a customer, even laughing and joking but then I would get in the truck and left with my own thoughts, I would start crying my eyes out. I couldn't even listen to the radio. Thanks for welcoming me back!

Don't feel awkward about this. Many of us have felt the same way at times. That makes you normal - or at least as normal as the rest of us

Thanks for your understanding. It was really kind of hard for me to come back here and try to explain what happened. I did have a fleeting thought of posting under another name because that might have been easier for me but doing that would have been lying to everyone and myself.

I seem to have alot of apologizing to do too. I am still trying to learn how to deal with people when my pain level shoots up. I guess accepting that I suffer from depression would be a good first step. Thanks for being here.

I am still working also. My job requires me to drive around 100's of miles a day. The long trips can really be painful, especially a long trip first thing in the morning or a long trip home at the end of the day. Thanks for understanding.

Thanks for understanding. I do take medication for depression but I don't think what I take would have helped this wave of despair. Usually I don't let alot of things bother me but for some reason almost everything was bothering me and my emotions seemed to be right at the surface and I was struggling to keep them from spilling over.

I am sorry you are not feeling as well as you used to. I think it's great you are getting the chance to homeschool your daughter. My neighbor homeschools her 3 boys and I have noticed over the years they have a great relationship with their mother. Thanks for being here and being so understanding.

Yup so you're among friends of a feather!! LOL! Don't feel bad about posting on your dark days... I recall on this thread that Steve & I were discussing being cynical & dark and it's part of what we do here.... I've noticed many peeps here have that constant attitude and found that I must accept my 'face' for the day and go with it and not worry. I tend to not post when i'm depressed but have been reminded lately that it's ok to show that side of me too. Plus, I've gotten good friends here thru my dark times of posting.
