If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Whew! I thought I was the only stoic individual. I recall an office manager at my former employer once commenting that I always look very stoic. She wanted to know why. I remember telling her that it was because I was always in pain. As stated previously in another response to Alan's post, I'm not proud of this disease, but I'm proud of the way I deal with it.
Kind Regards, Jay

Hi Tim,
yes the silly things folks say, actually you have given me an idea for a post and a survey, I think we should ask everyone for the daft comments they have had to endure about AS, would make an interesting, and no doubt funny almanac. I shall do it this evening.
Now now. England losing on penalties..........arghhhhhhhhh............as if, well we do now and then, well we do more than now and then............well errr...........well yes, we ALWAYS lose on penalties.........arghhhhhh...........lol

So what rhymes with Spondylitis?
Great post, I have often thought about some of the stories in here and we are a brave and inspirational bunch, good of you to put it into words. Since this disease is rooted my genes and I love myself, I must also love AS. There is no me without AS (although there was once, as far as I knew) and although there is no way to have one without the other, I refuse to be defined by it.

yes, perhaps I mis-worded it by saying 'proud of it' nevertheless all seem to concur that we are jolly proud of the way we deal with it. Non other than a spondylitic appreciates its grimness, that's why we all appreciate the suffering of each other, we have all been there....usually to hell and back.........would be nice to impose AS for a fortnight on your supervisors, they might begin to understand a little.......lol no that would be cruel

Wish I could have put it as succinctly as you have here, yes refuse to be defined by it should be the mantra for all of us. well said
as for rhyming with spondylitis, err, well.....
I would have loved forever
my pair of Aphrodite's
for all I tried i could never
because of my spondylitis
or err
I went and lost it blinking heck
and its flared my spondylitis
bit oh i wish that some one knew
exactly where my 'kite is'
urghhhhh
