I had an ortho disregard possible AS in my son due ot a knee problem. He said it doesn't present that way when in fact it does in young people.
I lost some respect but I did send him a letter in the hope that the next case he may catch. He actually wrote back and thanked me for the article and he agreed that was something he needed to be aware of. I gained some respect back for him then. They see it so rarely that a little education is a good thing.
No families take so little medicine as those of doctors, except those of apothecaries.

That strikes me as a very thoughtful reasoned approach Steve. If all kickers adopted this manner I bet collectively we'd make a positive difference in kickin' AS! We are a big enough group to be a force!  thanks! mig

Hello,
You reminded me of my GP in Oregon. Who spent a lot of time & let me stay for hours in his clinic when I had heart trouble.

Good Morning, My name is Tony and I do know that A.S. can affect the eyes and it could be very painful. I have had A.S. over 10 years and I have taking just about everything. I even took Remicade and I got Lymphoma cancer last year due to it. Just be careful and never give up.
