If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

hi all:
can i ask what dosage you were on when you got this sick?
i was methotrexate many years ago before there was anti-tnfs and experienced bad side effects like you mentioned.
i still go to the same rheumy. i'm back on remicade because of severe allergic reaction with humira. last week, he told me that he wants me back on methotrexate and will decrease the dosage so i don't have the nausea and fatigue. he has had wonderful results from his patients in pain reduction and disease remission.
so this time i'm on 10 mg a week and he says i can stretch it out to one pill per day (4 a week) so my body can get used to it.
i should have asked him what dosage i was on before.
thanks for any info you can give me.
aloha, leslie

It has completely messed up my liver and kidneys. My monthly bloodwork was coming back normal, but it was doing horrid things to me that weren't showing up (well, a slight elevation of liver function). I now have constant kidney pain and liver soreness. It's just a really primitive drug that shouldn't be an option anymore. I was on it because Remicade wasn't working and the others (Enbrel, Humira) hadn't been FDA approved for AS yet so my insurance wouldn't cover them. (I'm allergic to sulfasalazine.) And it never even did that much! With so many other things out there, no one should have to use this awful drug anymore.

I was just prescribed MTX and Humira at the same time. This was 2 weeks ago. I was contemplating stopping the MTX altogether before I read all of your posts. Now I'm convinced that its the correct decision. Thanks for everyones input.
