I feel I need to apologise for shutting everyone out.....

I have been severely depressed for months (actually most of my life but I am not ready to admit that) and everything got much worse on New Years Eve when I realized I am so far in debt that I will probably loose everything I have....both my businesses, my home, my kids....my everything.

I have zero support which makes it so much worse. I have no friends...nothing. Thought I had a BF but he is no support at all and doesn't seem interested. All I have is my kids and they will never come back to me if they knew and of course this isn't something I want my kids to be worryig about anyways.

I haven't slept in weeks and I haven't cried yet either. Sure I am tough but the fight just gets to be too much sometimes. Trying desperately not to crawl into that dark hole that is calling my name.

I desperately need to find a job so I can work day and night. I have no choice.

Just wanted you to know what was happening in case anyone was wondering where I've been.....

Yes I have been wondering, worried, praying for you...I could tell you were shutting down, it just hurts because there is nothing I can do except be here and that doesnt help much.

Just know there are so many of us thinking about you for what it's worth.

Awww Sherry, I'm sorry to hear the BF isn't being the help you thought he would be. I know it can suck and I'm sure you'll continue to have that fight in you and you'll pull out of it. Might take a little while, but I know you'll be ok.

talking admitting depression is the start,

when lots of things are broken, just take small easy things fix those first,

Sleep is so important, meds like endep, cheap good for night time pain, makes you pretty sleepy without being a major knock out pill. also anti-depressant. So you get three good actions for the price of one.

Hi Sherri,

Sorry to hear that you are depressed, I have been there and had to be hospitalized... it is not fun thinking the world is closing in on you. If you can not talk with your children, keep coming back and posting here.... we are here for you and do not want to be shut out of your life.

Financial issues are difficult, I am praying you can find some solutions. A good cry when you get to that would probably do you some good.... I did when I called my parents from the hospital (I was living in Phoenix at time and they were in NE Wisconsin). I was not cured with the cry... but it did help some and I knew my parents loved me.... hopefully you can confide in your children.

I know we can't give tangible help, but emotional suport is half the battle. I know that, I've never experienced such power in the love and concern as I did last month when I came to everyone here and asked for help. I wish there were some way I could reach out and really help you. Please know my concern and prayers are genuine and I hope my cyber hugs can help a little.
