Hello!

I am a researcher from the Health & Well-being Lab who lives with Reactive Arthritis.

Currently I am conducting an on-line research survey that examines how present, past, and future self-perceptions influence well-being and adjustment to arthritis. In other words, how has living with AS changed how you view yourself and your goals for the future. This survey study also examines how social relationships and use of support from others with and without arthritis may influence your self-perceptions and adjustment, a topic which is especially relevant for on-line Arthritis communities like Kick AS.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to share your perspective on how AS has changed you:

http://www.uwindsor.ca/Arthritis_study

The survey takes approximately 25 to 45 mins. to complete and can be completed on-line or mailed if you prefer. Although I don't have a budget to pay everyone for their time I can offer each person who participates a chance of winning one of several gift certificates worth $25 US.

The study is open to anyone with any form of arthritis but I would like to ensure that there is a broad range of arthritis experiences included in this research. That is why I would like to make sure that people with AS and other spondylarthropies are included in this study. I will also post a report with the study results once it is available which will include a summary specific to AS.

Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks in advance for your time!

Fuschia

Long Survey - a lot of interesting questions and great deal of thought given to the answers. Can't wait to see the outcome of the survey.

That was facinating - what a very well put together questionaire - quite the best I have ever seen. Those questions were so well drawn up, and excellent in being so consequetive. Will be most interesting to see/do part two and to reading the conclusions.

Thank you for all your work. Well done

Molly
