I am so glad I decided to try this also. Sure would be nice to get results as fast as you did. So today is day 2 and yesterday I had a big salad with raw veggies, tiny bit of cheese and a little beef. Today I haven't eaten but it will be another big salad of some sort.
Thanks,

Sherri

Thanks for the best wishes....I know it may take a bit for me to get the hang of all this but I am confident I can do it. I'm actually really excited.

Hi Rita,
I am really glad I decided to try this also. You are so lucky you noticed a difference so quickly. I hope I will, I had alot of starch in my diet. I will definately be asking alot of questions.

Hi Sherri,

Do not be afraid to ask questions concerning diet... I asked so many years ago now when I started and thankful for all those that helped me along. Can be a bit frustrating and overwhelming knowing what to eat and what not to eat... but you have the rest of your life ahead of you and this is not a quiz with only one right answer.

Hopefully with cutting out the starches your pain will gradually improve, it may take some time.

Best to you,

Tim

Hi Sherri

I wish you good luck with the NSD, I think you will find results beyond your wildest imagination. I did so when I started! You write that you do not notice any difference when eating starches: I am not surprised, the problem is a constant overload of starches whick makes you stay "at the bottom all the time". After same weeks on NSD you will climb the hill of good health and then you will start seeing the difference when you eat starches, then you know what good health is and have something to compare with. This at least is what happened for me, and I hope you get the same experience. It is only through doing NSD one really can appreciate its powers.

All the best
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
Yes I do believe I was constantly overloaded with starch. I can hardly wait to begin feeling better. I am definately going to stick with this. When I am determined there is no turning me back. I have explained the reason for this diet to all 4 of my kids just so they understand. It is a huge change for me and gradually will be for them because they will eventually be eating less starch also.
So today is day 3 and I feel ok so far. Had quite a bit of pain in my stomach lastnight but it subsided. I'm sure it will take some time for my system to adjust.

Hi again Sherri

Be careful to introduce NSD slowly, it is a HUGE change in the body and you may get into problems if you change too quickly. Myself I did a whole year of LSD before realising NSD really was needed. Also note that eating lots of animal fats is needed if you eat meat and no carbs. Despite what most people thinks, saturated fats are very good for you.

Cheers
Andreas
