Have we heard any more on how Molly is doing?

I hope she is continuing to heal and will be back soon.

Very good news to hear that Molly's surgery went well .. and I hope it's really helped to lessen the pain she was having. Hopefully she'll be back in and posting again soon.

With healing thoughts and my best wishes to you, Molly!

Holly (Mille Gratz - Thank YOu) - Lisa, Deborah, Kath, Cindy, Lon, Kat, Sherri, Rita, Nonnie, Cara, Tim, Maggie, James, Janet, Linc, Oded, Marn, Lisa, Mig - Golly gosh. Am soooo overwhelmed. Your kindness, good wishes, wonderful and inspiring positive thoughts have done so much to help me through this. Sophia called me and read out messages. Meant so much.

Thank you all.

Will write an account - you couldn't make it up! At the moment am just back home from recuperating enough to be able to 'sort of' manage on my own...and it will be 'sort of'! Can lift half a jug of water with two hands, means I can half fill elec kettle - or the dog's bowl! And, I did get to manage to cut a slice of bread: how's zat? Gotta larf. In a nutshell, surgery over, clips only half out from the OK procedurre in the right elbow, as site not sufficiently healed to have em all out. Arthroscopy site in right shoulder has thrown a wobbly and become infected...am now on antibiotics + Immodium (to stop gut rot) and probiotics, oh yes, and of course the pain meds (very necessary, those! )

My s-in-l was absolutely fantastic: took care of me, my dog, cooked marvellous meals and made great fresh juice and ran me around to hospital appointments and wound clinic and walk in surgery (where the arthroscopy port infection came to light).

Whilst all this was going on we had a big storm out here; the wind shook out a section of the building, pulling out a wall - fortunately not the main part of the house. Loss adjuster/assessor coming out on Wednesday to survey the damage.

Am not downhearted, can scratch head with pen - elbows and shoulders don't permit to scritch...can't reach!! Oh dear.

Trying to catch up on what you've all been doing and also saving bits and bobs to post to. y'all. Will now do chore of filling kettle for hot water bottle and will check on dog's water bowl (oh yes, and take some more flippin pills )

Love you all - big hugs, huge thanks, and it is grand to back.

Molly

Molly, I saw one of your research posts when I first logged on this morning and knew all was well.

I am sorry to hear about the infection and hope it clears up quickly.

Part of your house came down??!!! Egad, how frightening.

Please just take care of you. Someone else can scratch those unreachable areas, and the same person can fill the dogs bowl, or a kettle so you can have some tea.

Many hugs,

Kat

Heigh you guys - What a lift you give one. Thanks for the huge 'welcome' back. Y're all so positive that it posively empowers one. Thank you. Not quite fighting on all cylinders but sure am working on it

Maggie - Yes, s-in-l is such a fab person. Am soooo lucky that she is family
Jude 2 - Yep, am taking it easy. Had a fun bath tub today: was so 'longing' to lie in a tub of hot water, so I braved getting in - and 'hoped' it would not be toooooo diff getting out! Told one neighbur that IF I got stuck I'd call, so we laughed, as she in turn would have to call on one of the farm workers...hahaha she could hold the towel!!!!!!! Got out OK, did not have to make that call, no loss of dignity, but had to giggle, gee I just might have got stuck (mind boggling scenario!)
Kat - no longer turning green: it sure was a yucky looking shoulder! As for help in scritching, well...dogette would need to go to specialist training classes As for the wall, TG my neighbours propped it up for me otherwise it would have been a huge gaping hole with a roof cave in Meeting with loss assessor tomorrow - fingers crossed
Rita - teas made, drop by for a cuppa gal. An just taken the evening pills: hopeless at keeping track of the time, seem to have two pills too many for the week allotment: shoot (Pills are like socks, they never match up!!)
Holly - dearest gal: big hugs back. Working on the healing, and Ohhhhhhhh, I do like my own bed!
Tim - thank you. Yep, sure am concentrating on getting back in shape agin. Am spooning up a cup of yogurt and always think of you when I take it - how is Argentina, did you find your yogurt out there?

First lot of physio tomorrow. Will let ya'll know how it went - and must tell you about my new rheumy...

Molly
