If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

HI. I got my new monthly refill of enbrel and they are in pen form. I will be doing it Monday so Hopefully this will be better than the sypringe needles.
Is it easy to use? I haven't had any training on this one but I will be checking the enbrel website for demo and i will be reading the directions.
Thanks!

I've been using the Humira pen since October and I think it's the greatest.
Good luck!

Do you order this Humira in a pen special or how do you get it? I am using a syringe which works ok but the pen interests me. Does it cost more than the syringe? Just curious???

The Enbrel folk told me the pen form may be available in Canada later next year some time...

I have no idea if there's a difference in cost, or even if it comes in 25 and 50mg doses. Perhaps someone south of the border can enlighten us to the differences?
Blessings, Sigrid

yeah, some pharmacies offer the pen and some don't--but your doc needs to write the prescription for it. i did the pen for a month and then i switched back to needles. i hated the pen--it hurts more than the needle. but most people think the pen is easier... you'll have to let us know what you think.

I use the Humira pen and my neighbor uses the Enbrel pen. Neither of us had a cost difference between the pen and traditional syringe.

I have been told by my brother who has suffered from headaches that the pen shots hurt much more then loading your dose... The big problem is that the medicine is injected so fat into your skin that it leaves bad brusing...
