Congratulations, Jeanna!!

Of course, I never doubted for one second that you wouldn't pass, but it's good to have confirmation

Great to have such a loving, supportive partner too, so you don't have to sorry about anything else

About those names....it'll be extremely handy having you around to translate, b/c I often ask my GP about a med mentioned here and she looks at me as tho' I'm mad!!

Congats again, and
((((HUGS))))

Congrats Jeanna,

I think you know everyone at Kickas is behind you and always wishing you well with your doctorial endeavors. I find the language differences so interesting...

Best wishes on part two of the test.

Tim

Oh Sarah dear, I would never say that you were "big gobbed", just someone who was genuinely interested. Any normal (ie. less weird) person would have appreciated it fully! I'm just a bit superstitous about thinking about exam results until I know for certain.

Yes, I do want to be a GP. I also have a huge interest in palliative care, and hope to transition into that at some point later in my life. Both disciplines suit my personality, and my shortcomings due to the AS beast nicely I think. The GPs in this country signed a new contract in 2004 where they were relieved of the obligation of after hours (ie evening call and weekend surgeries) work. Yay! With having AS, as you likely well know, it's really important to strike a balance with all the elements in your life, and no weekends and evenings means I'll kinda have a schedule like a normal person . Still have post-grad training to get through, which will abuse my body horribly, but good to know that the end is in sight.

Hugs again,
Jeanna

Dear Charlie,

Thanks for your congratulations and faith in me for my upcoming exam. Truth be told, due to paperwork here in the UK, it is unlikely I will be able to work as a doc until next summer, despite getting these exams done in good time, but I'll be happier when they're not hanging over my head any longer.

What a sweet post Charlie, thank you,
Jeanna

Jeanna!!!!!
You did it again! I believe the part II will be a piece of cake for you.
I was wondering what you were doing these days, not seeing you around much and here we go, one step closer! CONGRATS!!!

(I am just thinking of anyone from this country who wishes to practice medcine elsewhere and has to go through this, I have some USMLE demo cds, not many people try. Since I am in the study US advising (5 years), I only had one person asking about it, no wonder!)
