I'm happy to hear you're getting the laparascopy version. As other people have said, it is much easier and faster to recover from. You have been fortunate not to have a full blown gall stone attack ---- feels like you're having a major heart attack,according to my father.
Just depends where they wedge themselves, I guess.

You are always so cheerful and supportive of everyone. You'll be getting so many good wishes your way, the medical staff will be wondering why you're healing so quickly!!!

Thanks ...I'm believing in my almighty God for his healing and guiding the surgical hands and all. ...yes...I have heard it could have been worster but I thank God it wasn't. .you know I HAVE THE JOY OF THE lORD,HE IS MY STRENGTH. ..believe me ...lol...I HAVE MY DAYS...trials and all. ..but I have to be THANKFUL..for another day that God let me see.. .lol. .....if I stayed worry up..it.eventually will tear me down...more harm done.....THE MEDICAL STAFF will only she the light shing from me...LOL....I love to smile...we all have good in us...a heart ..thanks again for your encouragement and being there for me../Prayers

Hi! Oh yes that good ole gallbladder problem. I had about 2 years worth of attacks. Once I even had to go to hospital and they were testing my heart out. They figured out not heart so did an xray on gallbladder and nothing. Finally I couldnt take the pain in my chest and ribcage area. So I called my gp and asked for an untrasound. Sure enough I had 3 silver dollar size stones and too many small ones to count. It wasnt a really hard surgery and I think I got out that same afternoon. I felt pretty rng out but not bad. and a little amount of pain but not bad. GOD will take care of you and you will be in my prayers so pm me if you want. I know surgery is scary. Do you have children? If you do it aint nuthin like labor lol. Childbirth is always a good comparison of things. Take care....Connie

I will surely keep you in my prayers. I hope that they do a good job on your. Do they think that it may have been caused by AS at all. I am asking because I have a feeling that AS affects some abdominal issues. I put up a post asking if anyopne had odd abdominal surgerys after my gall bladder was removed, and the doc told me he had never seen a gall bladder affected by inflimation as mine was. I just have a secret suspicion that 'they must be keeping something from us' JK LOL

I will be praying for your surgery to be a success, and very helpful and benefitual. I will also put your name on the prayer scrool at my church this Sabbath, so that it will be in the prayers of everyone at my church.
