Wow, gallstones, and their big...and I take it painful?? You'll be in my thoughts, I'm sure they remove stones frequently and you should be fine, is that out patient or will you be in the hospital for a couple days? If so find a laptop to borrow and see if you can link up from your room.

Did they tell you to stop certain meds? I voluntarily stopped Enbrel for two weeks before getting the cardio cath as I was worried about my compromised immune system picking up a bug in the building...but I was fine...

Peace, hang in there!!

Joy2all,

I will hold you in my thoughts that day. I had my gall bladder out in 2003 for the same reason, so I know what you are going through and sympathize. I hope they are able to handle it laproscopically with you, as that is much easier to endure and recover from. Even if they don't for some reason, it's not too bad as surgeries go (they could not handle me laproscopically due to my spinal curvature and fusion) and you will come out of it with flying colors.

Best of luck,

Brad

I had my first surgery 9 years ago and I was a mess waiting for it but everything went ok...also laproscopy. Is this your first surgery?

My thoughts will be with you and get well quickly! You have been our positive energy and have been there for us... now it's our turn to do the same for you.

Sharon
