Well, Reedy is becoming quite famous.
Mig is a true doggy person. She knows all too well about doggy treats. Unfortunatly, Reedy is part piggy and her whole world revolves around treats.
Truth to tell, when a camera comes out, she turns into a complete idiot sometimes but if a treat is up for grabs - we can achieve almost anything.

If anyone ever wondered what the pink is on the cat's mouth - he is sticking his tongue out !!!! Major attitude problem.

Well Joe - I'd love to bring the doggy to you for kisses but sadly, it is much to far so you need a good imagination now. If Reedy were meeting you right now, she would definatly want to kiss and kiss and kiss you - as much as you would allow her to. She likes to kiss so much that we have to give her a stuffed toy to hold so that she stops kissing. Your face would be all wet but I imagine you would be very happy because you would have a great new doggy friend.

Mags, given the focus in the cat's eyes and the tongue licking her feline lips, I always figured that something was about to become dinner!!

Hugs,

Kat

Hi Maggie,
If memory serves me well, isn't Reedy having a birthday party? Or was it your birthday party? I think she was waiting for something better then dog biscuits, yummy birthday cake! Anyhow, I always smile when I see the pictures too. I hope you are doing fine and life is treating you well.
Go Red Wings!

Well we had some mice in the house one winter and a couple of them did indeed become Morley's dinner- YUK.
Havn't had mice since though. He relies on his mummy to open a box or can now.

Hope you're well Kat

This in the Groaniad today -

Oxford social anthropologist Kate Fox writes: "The English are not usually given to patriotic boasting - indeed, both patriotism and boasting are regarded as unseemly, so the combination is doubly distasteful. But there is one significant exception to this rule, and that is the patriotic pride we take in our sense of humour, particularly our expert use of irony." This cherished national characteristic has long been a source of pride, as a character in Alan Bennett's The Old Country demonstrates. "We're conceived in irony," says Hilary, the spy who has defected to Moscow. "We float in it from the womb. It's the amniotic fluid. It's the silver sea. It's the waters at their priest-like task, washing away guilt and purpose and responsibility. Joking but not joking. Caring but not caring. Serious but not serious." But if we laugh less and don't revel in irony any more, what on earth are we good at? Volume car manufacturing? Be serious.

'Then you should say what you mean,' the March Hare went on. 'I do,' Alice hastily replied; 'at least - at least I mean what I say - that's the same thing , you know.' 'Not the same thing a bit!' said the Hatter.

Um, probably a bit late here but has nobody noticed that Mr Menezes
1 didn't actually run from the police,
2 was not wearing bulky clothing, and
3 had been restrained by a policeman when he was shot 8 times in the head.
4 was traduced after his death by some lunatic propagandist

And was basically a totally innocent guy slaughtered on his way to work because the police got it horribly wrong. Moral: avoid London for the forseeable, particularly if you are a bit dusky looking.
