If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Jeanna - I didn't know whether there had been any deletions; it would help if they were always flagged. That always appeared to be the way in the past.
As for snotbox, I can understand her sentiments. If fatal shootings by the police in this country are not mistakes the victims usually turn out to be psychotics behaving strangely because they have not taken their drugs. The real criminals put there hands up pretty quick because they know the cops do shoot. But with these suicide bombers things are different and I do sympathise with the police, especially as I spend two hours a day travelling back and forth across London!

Bill,
It's pretty difficult to find any humour in that remark, especially after an innocent man has been riddled with bullets. This isn't the joke Forum nor the sick joke forum.

The police are in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation here. If they had not shot at this guy, and it turned out that he was a terrorist, what then? Take a minute and think about what the officer who shot him is going through. Believe it or not, peace officers do have feelings, and often times something like this will affect them the rest of their lives. It doesn't matter if what the officer did was justified, believe me, he's paying a price. It's one of those things that if you haven't experienced it, I don't think you can know what he's going through. I don't know anyone who takes shooting someone lightly.

I guess I just want to throw in my vote for "free speech", too -- even when we disagree with one another. It is imperative that we do so with respect, but I truly believe we can learn from one another and be stretched by listening carefully even when someone else's thoughts or feelings are very different from our own -- whether it have to do with politics, religion, AS therapies, etc. Just my two cents. George - it is called irony, and non english always get confused by it. It is a way we have of coping with the world without losing our cool.

So why go on using it on an board on which the English are the minority - knowing full well it will be badly receceived?

Loz - I find those from the indian sub-continent, australians, dutch, irish etc get the hang of it well enough and even share our humour. Can this really become a website where non americans feel at ease to express themselves if we have to bottle it? Not many english stay around too long, possibly because the social customs here can feel so peculiar. Of course I have an ulterior motive for hanging in and while I do I will speak in my own words.

I always went with the "When in Rome" approach myself and am rarely misunderstood by anyone, from anywhere. But fair enough, each to his own.

Bullfeathers Bill.
So why not some more irony? You have got to be the most compassionate person to have ever set foot in KickAS.

Mei believes in the 'when in rome . . .' thing to. The way she swears in english when having tantrums even shocks me!
