If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Loz, I just heard the number's gone up to 37, 700 injured. My heart is weeping for all of you, my soul is in shock. I will never forget watching 9/11 here at the office - the numbness and sorrow mixing inexorably, but not realizing that in a few short months I would meet the wonderful people here who had been directly affected.
Today at 7am, I turned on the morning news and watched with similar numbness and sorrow, this time knowing that a dear friend from my office and a ton of my KA family were there.
I wish I were there to hold you all, to help with the recovery. To help somehow.
Love and hugs,
Kat

I wish for all the things that you wish for Paula but sadly, if we stop and study the history of mankind, it appears to scream out at us that mankind is inherently violent.
We can all remember when the last war was. Can anyone remember when the last world peace was?

Yes, dear George, you're right . . . but we can always keep dreaming, we can always keep believing, we can always keep living and speaking and doing in ways that make for peace even if it is only a small measure in the great wide world. One person at a time . . . even that has to make some difference! Paula
Meanwhile I live and move and I am glad, enjoy this life and all its interweaving. Each given day, as I take up the thread, let love suggest my mode,my mood of living. (Fred Kaan, 1975)

I'm a dreamer too and if I lived down your way, I'd vote for you any day. But sadly and realistically (my true feelings), I don't believe that Mankind is really capable of creating a peaceful world. Most of the world population will die of hunger and disease before we could solve the problems of world peace.
Can't stop trying though.
Cheers, George

Hello all
Just checking in. I am in south east London so not directly caught up in the explosions. My family all seem to be safe, even those that work in the centre of London. I have spent most of the day watching the news in complete disbelief - the toll of dead and injured keeps rising. Ordinary, innocent people - how can this happen!!!

Hi Lori and everyone who has asked. Jeanna has it right about where I live and work. The worrying thing is, IS this it, or will there be more. We will just have to be vigilant and take more care in our day to day lives. This just goes to show that no matter where you live or work, you must be watchful and take care.
Stay Well

Just want to add my thoughts and prayers for our UK members and everyone in London to those already posted. I was heartsick to hear the news this morning.

I am so glad our UK AS'rs are all as safe as possible. My thoughts and prayers are with all of our friends and loved ones in the UK. I'm absolutely stunned at yet another cowardly act.
