Well,

Here it is 4:00 in the morning and I am up again for the 5th time tonight...lol

While I was laying in bed, I had a great idea!!!!

Why couldn't we have a chat room that is linked to the AS website, so we can visit with our friends or maybe when someone is down or needs information really quick someone might be in there to help.

So does anyone know, if we could or how we could, or if it would be ok if we did????

What does everyone else think???

Hi Lisa

We had a chatroom on the last KA site but I think it was donated to us and I'm not sure if it is even there anymore. We also used MSN to chat as well for chatting and that was good too. Maybe we could find some way to get somw thing going again. Great Idea.

The clinical definition of agoraphobia is a fear of situations or places "from which escape might be difficult (or embarrassing) or in which help may not be available in the event" of a panic attack.

hi adriaan,

last summer, an msn chatroom was set up. we had quite a few people sign up for it, but it wasn't used very often.

the k.a. admins at the time didn't show much interest in it, so it basically fell by the way-side.

maybe someone else can get one organized.

Hello, Everyone!

A chat room(attached to the site) requires an additional software purchase and additional monies per month. It also requires dedicated technical attention for at the very least a small amount of time.

None of these are in abundance with the site or Admin/Mod staff at the moment.

I will look around for free chat alternatives...maybe see how we can make the msn chats work.

This is DEFINITELY open for suggestions...I know we have alot of Information System professionals here...so suggest away!!

Take care!
Holly
