Hey there! Nice to hear from you! That was a wild trip for me. I was so sick an confused the first part of the trip & brother Pete drove me around. It was great to see you and I am glad that we had that time together!

Hi Lon. Good to see you again. I havn't been around much lately myself, but I stop in now and then, to try and catch up on whats happening with everyone. Also good to hear that you are doing better. I have been very well sense my operations in Oct. & Nov. My pain levels have dropped to a very tollerable level now. I had almost forgot how it feels to lie in bed at night without hurting.
This place has certainly grown over the last 5 or 6 years. Did I say 5 or 6 years? It dosn't seem that long ago when there were only a handfull of AS'ers posting to the board.

Hello Lon, I was reminded of you a couple times when I run into a big bull moose in the mountains...oops, not implying any resemblance, just your love of wildlife (you understand). Anyway, a moose is a magnificant-looking creature, don't you agree

Yes it was..is. His style, his humor and his love of mankind have given us such joy through the years that I downloaded a bunch of them so I can read them whenever I need a boost. Some of them are so funny I'd like to submit them for publication! Ever read the one about the chickens? look in the old forum...I swear you'll split a gut!

Of course, it is a compliment to be thought of in the great out of doors! Moose are indeed a significant animal. They are just plain funny to look at once you get over thier size. Nice to talk to you again!
