I was the member who was in the hospital for 2 1/2 months and was sent postcards, letters, gifts etc.. in the mail on almost a daily basis. (It kept coming even after I got out!) I can't tell you how much it cheered my spirits up everyday and helped me to keep fighting.
I have every postcard, letter etc that was sent to me and here it is now, 2 years later, and I still love pulling them all out and reading everything. Michelle even put together this beautiful book with special notes and pictures from many members of my KickAS family. I can't tell you what it does for a person to know they have so many people supporting them and cheering them on.
We need to do this for Dan if we can get an address. We have done some really wonderful things over the years on this board for our brothers and sisters in need and I think this would be perfect for Dan. Maybe we can get an address for a family member who comes and sees him to bring everything to him.
Let's push to do this if we can get an address. Dan needs to know how much we care about him and to see all the love and prayers sent his way!

I've e-mailed Rick to get an address if/when Dan gets moved to the rehab center, I'll keep you guys posted. Obviously, while he's in ICU, he can't receive a ton of stuff. Ian  Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. --Benjamin Franklin

I still have some of the diapers (planning on wearing them n a few years when incontinence sets in ) and all of the cards. When the girls are about 10 I'll give them te cards in a scrapbook so they know how great this place is. As for Dan I'll send him whatever it takes. For me it'd be one Michelle Pfieffer poster, a bag of Yodels and audio of my little Great Diaper Droplets. I'll ship same to Dan or if his tastes vary a Sandra Bullock poster, some broccoli rabe and audio of his favorite pop/ country music artist.   stevec-they also serve who stand and wait

I should have some info this weekend, if and where Dan was moved. As soon as I get his new location I will post the info. He was supposed to be going to the first of two rehabilitation centers this week. We're all hoping the visit at the first center will be a short stay since the second center will be the main place for him to recover.
