Hi Rick,
My husband & I are fairly new here (only been a few months). But wanted to tell you that we will pray for a full recovery and comfort and strength for all the friends and family. Keep the faith.....Miracles still happen everyday!!!!

What terrible news. Dan has certainly given me a lot of help in the past and I have valued his shared knowledge and advice.

I hope he recovers and gets well soon, and that he can hear about the wishes and support coming back from this community.

My computer has been "broken," I could read but not type, and it has been driving me crazy watching this and being unable to post a response. Dan has been such a great asset to the KA board and I always looked for his wonderful and supportive answers to my posts and those of others when he was posting more frequently. We all know, especially with his founding of Power Over Pain, that he's a fighter! He is in my thoughts. I had my big Masters Recital this weekend and played a piece for him... Biber's Passacaglia for solo violin. Is it a hauntingly beautiful piece that has the power to make time stand still for the whole of its 12 minute duration. I had a few people tell me it made them cry, so hopefully it was enough to send some good vibes in Dan's direction.

Hi Erie
What a wonderful thing for you to have done for Dan. I would have loved to have been there and listened to you myself. I love to hear the sound of a violin and I've certainly found many a tear in my eye. Take care.

I'm back. I've been in the process of moving to a new home and unfortunately don't have a whole lot of new information on Dan. I did get word late last week that he was attempting to smile the other day after his nurse told a joke and continues to make attempts to open one eye.

I'm going over to see Dan this weekend. Our other brother is also flying in from England later this week to visit. I'm really looking forward to the visit since it will be my first chance to see Dan since the accident.

Thanks again, your all great.

More good news to come.

Rick
