I made this post sticky so that Rick will find it better and he can let us know how things are going with Dan.

Rick,

I'm so sorry to hear about the accident. Dan has always been so sweet and kind. Of course, we will keep Dan and your whole family in our prayers. May the Lord comfort and encourage you all.

I am very sad to hear about the accident.
I wish Dan recovers quickly and completely. I pray to all Gods for Dan's recovery.

Thanks for all the support and the pictures Ian.

I will make sure Dan and the rest of the family knows of your kind words.

It's currently Monday morning Oct. 25. Dan is stable but still in a comma. He's not gotten any worse and is beginning to show some positive signs.

Dan is in one of the best head trauma hospitals in New Mexico and seems to have a great team helping him through this situation.

I'll let you know if anything changes.

Rick,

Thanks for keeping us informed. I didn't read about this tragedy until this morning, that's why I hadn't responded.

Having met Dan, at the NJ party, I know what a kind and gentle person he is, and I really hope everything goes well and he comes through this with that spirit of "POWER" he has worked so hard to convey to others.

Thanks for the update Rick, I'm so glad to hear that he's in the best facility possible. As a side note one of our members here, Betty works in a post-acute head injury facility, I believe it's in Texas (just checked her profile, it's in Dallas).

Is the coma due to the head injury or drug-induced to let his body catch up?

Please keep us posted and let Dan and your whole family know that we do care an awful lot and are thinking about him.

Ian

My very best wishes for a full recovery for Dan.
I also remember him as one of the first people to welcome me here.

Maggie
