If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

thanks you guys....you're all great. I had stopped taking the folic acid when I got the stupid cold, because it seemed like I was shoving a million things down my throat, and I thought how bad could it be if I didn't take it for a few days? Not knowing that it would be 3 WEEKS!! I see my rheumy on Thurs...if I call before then, I'll probably have to talk to his irritating new nurse whom I wholly dislike, so it should be ok until then, right? Just extremely annoying, but then, when it this disease NOT ?

HI Stacie....I think thrush leaves a white residue in your mouth, no? Nothing like that in mine, although it is a possibility. I hadn't even thought of that. Will bring it up too to the doc this week. Thanks!

I have had the same symptoms too. I agree with all the other posters-the MTX is probably the culprit. In spite of taking folate and so on, I get a lot of sore throat/cold type things. Just finished a bout of laryngitis that went on for 3 weeks, with no evident cold or other infection. Had to see a ear, nose and throat specialist who put me on a 6 day steroid dose pack. It is better now, but that was a real scary time since, as a pastor, I talk for a living. Thrush infections usually leave you with white patches on mouth, tongue or throat. Could happen, for sure. They tell us to stay away from groups of people, crowds, etc., but that is my job to do so. Ditto for hospitals. Every time I go to visit someone in the hospital I end up with another infection. I even wear a mask when I go in the room. Another annoyance. Good luck and call you DR! MaryD [bold]You can't get to where you're going from where you think you should be.
