It's actually for IBD, rather than IBS.

Makes you wonder how someone came up with the idea....

"hmmm, these patients have IBD and nothing seems to help much... Hey! Try giving 'em worms, that might work...."!

This subject has been posted about several times over the last 4 years and has apparently been successful. As I remember, the worms only live for a short time in the gut and then die off. They are not capable of reproducing while you have them and they don't wander off to investigate other parts of your body. Personally, I don't find that to be much of a relief.

Loz... LOL Hey, let's try giving them worms.... wonder what genious figured this one out!! reminds me of that childhood song...
"Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, think I'll eat some worms"...
Someone should revise it to fit IBD in there... heheheheheh

And I'm with you, Old George!! Don't care if they don't wander around and die off... NO worms for this chicky-mamma!! BARF.

Long green slimy ones. Short fat juicy ones. Itsy, bitsy, fuzzy wuzzy worms.

Stacie, that song was the first thing that came to my head when I saw this post. And you know what? Wouldn't matter how aweful I felt or how many people hated me, I still wouldn't eat worms!! BLECH!! PLOOEY! PFFFFZ

Hugs,

Kat

HA!!! Can you hear Julia Child now, with her glass of wine... "Ah yes, and hear we have a lovely delicassy, a bowl of mixed worms.... Hmmmm... lets see, we have round worms, pin worms, tape worms, earth worms, hook worms and OH!! Lookie here... Heart worms!!" "Mixed worms add a nice touch to any social gathering, and what's this?? Just in from the press, they can help cure IBD, too!! Now, won't your friends and loved ones feel so much better, all because of you!" Bon appetite!
