How does that song go? You're not insane, you're just a little impaired, unwell, etc. We all are here. When I started Arava I had a choice between that and Enbrel, and the thing that tilted the balance is that Arava is a teensy pill, NOT A SHOT!!!! I give my dog allergy shots every week and it makes me queasy, the idea of giving myself one - - well, eeeek!  Arava still working, no needles yet. The best advice I can give you for getting back into shape (aside from losing the nightly beer, alcohol combined with most meds is not a good combo except in real moderation) is to find something you can do - - and do it. I swim an hour a day, but then I live in Florida, this is not an option for a lot of people here. When I lived in Mass. I walked 30 minutes a day except when it was so cold the dogs would refuse to go out with me - - and they're Russian wolfhounds. Exercise is key, along with a good diet, I do the low starch one. Exercise also releases those brain chemicals which helps to fight the pain. And welcome to KA! Cheryl If you can't be a good example you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning. I am not sure sure who paid for my Enbrel, I had to fill out an application and send away a record of my income tax. It was about 3-4 months ago, and I can't remember the name of the organization. Next time I dig in my records I will write it down.
Man o man reading all the diet info is frustrating, I have been doing just about everything wrong. I did groceries the other day and I bought a ton of stuff that isn't so good for me, haha.
I should maybe go and pick up some other stuff to balance things out.
I am going to attempt to go to work in the morning, so i'm going to flake out in front of the tv and watch some comedy network and techtv.

People teach their dogs to sit. I've been sitting my whole life, and a dog has never looked at me as though he thought I was tricky.

Yeah thats my cat Jibboo, she is alot rounder these days than in that picture. It looks like she swallowed a football.
I feel oddly better these past few days, not sure if it;'s the Enbrel of something physiological or perhaps coincidental, I get my second shot tommorow, maybe i'll know better this weekend or early next week.
I dont really have a big weekend plan, just trying to stay away from the drinks. Allthough the only reason I drank was for pain relief so hopefully it wont be on my mind all weekend. There is a video game that I play online alot so maybe i'll just do that in the evenings. During the day I just do my online course and drink tea, but this weekend I want to try and get outside for a walk before I am up to my [####] in snow.

The way we get around the "###" is to type AS instead of [####]. See what I mean?  Kat
