Oh.... a perfect day! There's not enough time to fit it all in, but I'll try!

It would have to start in the cool crisp mountain air at day break. I would wake with George and the girls, and would start coffee and breakfast on the campfire. Once we were fed, and the dogs and horses had breakfast, we'd get ready to go trail riding.
The trails would start out by the rivers edge, and we'd climb the switchbacks until we reached the top of a high hillside, where there would be water falls and abundant wildlife.
Once at the top, we'd have lunch and take all of God's country in. After making our way back down to camp, we'd all take a short nap, and have dinner by the campfire and talk for the rest of the night, and fall asleep under the stars.

Now, if only I could fit going to Kentucky to see my horse win the Derby, winning the lotto, finding a cure for AS and my dog's deaf and blindness, then THAT would be the ULTIMATE in perfect days!! But, I am greatful for my life right now, as is.

Yeah will put photos up if I knew how!!!! But will try! There will be some on my website soon as well.

Both Anja and Myself also whilst we were on honeymoon passed our PADI dive course. Awesome! Should really be allowed to do it because of Asthma, But I didn't tell the school about that. Seeing I had dived already and had no Probs.!!

Big achievement for both of us because Anja was also really nervous and scared at first.

It's a good question.

I'd wake up early after the best night's sleep imaginable. I'd eat the classic full English breakfast (and I don't regret it :)

A massage next I think, not becuase I need one, after all today I have no pain, but rather just because I'd like one. Then it's time to get into my teleportation device. It's mid summer, so a trip to the Alps would be a good start. A walk alone in the Alpine summer meadows would be refreshing.

From there I'd teleport myself to St Andrews for 18 holes of my best ever golf, with good friends, on the Old Course. For lunch, we have haggis with neeps and tatties which satisfy the mountain air hunger pangs.

After lunch we hop into the teleporter and go for an afternoon's skiing in New Zealand (where it's winter of course). We enter a slalom race. I win :) For dinner I pick up some roast New Zealand lamb and take it, and my friends, in the teleporter to France (where it's summer of course). We open fine red wine and eat dinner outside in the warm evening overlookng the sea. The guys have brought their guitars along, and we laugh and joke and sing late into the night.

Thanks Kath,

Tiny problem with it being night time in New Zealand, but maybe I'll have it all floodlit? Or better still perhaps my teleporter is also a time machine? "Dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer...."

Glad to hear that, Jim. And I'm really glad the Bextra is helping you so much. I've got my fingers crossed that your perfect days keep coming.

Mig,

It is really sweet of you to include us AS-Kickers in your "perfect picnic!" I'll be there. And I'd really love to see some of your art. I'm a painter too, and my favorite medium is watercolors. Right now, though, I'm painting a huge murial on my master bathroom wall. Obviously, watercolors wouldn't work in the dampness, so I'm forced to use acrylics. And guess what the subject is? You got it, a waterfall.

Hey Loz, while you're down-under just stop off and see Sally. She, I believe, would be willing to share her time machine with you. Then everything would work out fine!
