Glad to see you made it home Lisa, sorry to hear that is was a bumpy ride though. Those drugs they gave you at the hospital sound like they where really good ones, maybe you could get some for the bad days?
Dan.

Who knows what the drugs will do to us?

Hi Connie...you hit the nail right on the head when you said she sounds like a visiting angel..that's exactly what she is. She just called me...said after getting back to her office, she looked at all she wants to get done for me and said "Great..something good to chew on" Great personality and the will to go along with it. She has already made a few phone calls and has got the application in for getting a person to come here everday, also an OP (occupational therapist) to help me arrange things here and teach me how to do things that'll make life a little easier for me. This program will be giving me $750 worth of equipment too to help with all of this.
She phoned the person about my ramp...said that is her first priority in making life safer for me. She explained the refinacing thing a littler more to me and it sounds great. It's called "Refi for Rehab" and the interest rate will only be 1%. My house payment will be cut in half.
I didn't even know that these programs existed. An Angel indeed!!
We all need angels like this in our lives.
Hugs,
Lisa

Thanks Deb for the welcome, and thanks for the call at the hospital. The calls really made my stay a lot easier. I didn't feel so far away from my best freinds.

Lisa

Thanks for welcoming me home. I didn't get a chance to use any of the technics you taught, especially the one where I close my eyes and pretend I'm somehwere elde...the drugs did a good enough job at helping space off to another time and place
I heard from a few people at the hospital, but never heard from you wait minute...did I hear from you? Don't remember too much, especially the first two days.
Looking forward to getting back to our chats. I've missed you and all my friends here.
Hugs,
Lisa

Steve...I should have known you had a hand or should I say foot in this dropping thing. You should be ashamed of yourself, especially now because he is the one taking the fall for it...hey wait a minute...I'm the one that took the fall for it.
Guess I'll have to be getting together with Dianne soon and show her a few of my dancing tips, and it won't have anything to do with the Hoola Hoop
either
Thanks for thinking of me while I was away. Like I said, the support from you and the rest were what got me through it without any tears...except for when I was carried across the threshold. As he crossed the threshold he said this would be like a new beginning for me, but I never thought he was going to make me start it from the bottom.
Hugs,
Lisa

What do you mean you can't run and your housework abilities aren't too great? Here I thought you perfect and could do things better than the (as Steve would say) average bear. I'm so disappointed now... Oh well, guess I'll have to find another idol, unless of course your chocolating eating abilities can make up for those other imperfections. If you can eat them good enough so I can taste them, I just may put you back on the top of my list.
Thanks for the welcome home Cheryl. I was glad to get out of there and get back home to my PC.
Hugs,
Lisa
