I'm home, but not sure about the safe part  At one time I thought I was in good hands, now I have to wonder. It's a great feeling to know I was missed..even if just a little. You all have made me feel so very special, and I hope I make you feel the same way. Hugs, Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Is it time for an ASkicker to do stand-up comedy? What did the Dr. say when you told him about your ankles? I wish you had that on DVD for all of us.
So happy to see you are doing better. I'll be praying that you continue to improve and the lingering pains go away soon. Keep us updated.

Thanks for the prayers and kind words Rick. It was actually very funny when I told him about my ankles losing.. he just looked at my ankles and asked "are they swollen?" by this time my hubby was laughing and in shock that I said such a thing. That night a nurse came in and looked at my ankles and asked me how my disease effects them...yes, she was blonde After I realized that she was serious, I explained the disease to her and told her that it does sometimes effect my ankles. What a time I had! I'm going to have to start writing on the bathroom walls.."for a good time dial 911" Believe me, all of this would have made a a great DVD..especially the part when I said "this butts for you" as I turned my naked butt for the bedpan to placed under it. So glad you are back, and got to have some laughs at the hospital as well- laughter is a big cure-all for sure!! My ankles are losing all da time....
Keep us posted on your condition--glad to hear how involved your family is, and that visiting nurse!

Hey Lisa , Glad you are back here in KickAs Land ! Sounds like you got some more material for your AS book . Those drugs they give you in the hospital are heavy duty,after one of my surgery's I remember saying things under the influence and getting funny looks  . Talk Later.  Bruce

Hey Lori, Your right... here is where I belong. Thanks for bringing KickAS to me at the hospital...you have no idea what that meant to me even though I had no idea what the heck I was talking about the first couple of days. Don't know if you noticed something I said to you the first time you called me. I picked up on it right after I hung up. I said Hugs before hanging up, instead of Goodbye I'm so used to writing hugs when I end a post. So while talking to you, my mind went back at KickAS and it was like I was ending a post instead of hanging up the phone. The mind does strange things sometimes. When I hung up Eric looked at me and said "Hugs?" So I guess in my head you really did bring KickAS to me. Time to start making plans soon for that little trip your taking..I'm looking forward to it.
