I'm not so sure about the surgery.... I've heard that surgery is the WORST thing to do for the TMJ. I've heard of many who underwent TMJ surgery and it made their pain worse......I don't want to scare you but I'm not so sure I would get it done myself (I don't even like the idea of having my wisdom teeth pulled for this reason!)!!
