Yes, pets are the neatest people I wouldn't have been able to cope the past four months since my husband died if it weren't for my two dogs. Life goes smoothly here, my dogs seem to be adjusting to the presence of cats to the point where if I walk them through the house on their leashes when the cats are present - - on our way to the bedroom where I can shut them in - - they now act very nonchantly, as in, "Oh, cats. How uninteresting." Would I let the whole group "socialize" without supervision? Not quite Happy Cat, the growly cranky 21 year old cat, is - - gulp - - beginning to bond with me, but I know she's not a laptop kitty, has a history of shredding human skin if someone makes the mistake of picking her up for a cuddle
