Meredith,
To me enough sleep is also an issue. Today I woke up at 4.30 way too early for my work (being there at 8.30 is early enough).

I noticed that since on the diet my energy in daytime is higher but in the evening I tend to be more tired. So sleep comes normally easy and is deeper and longer then before. However sometimes I get into the rythm of one bad night followed by one good and so on.

When I want to be sure of a good sleep I normally drink some red wine or port wine before sleep which make me tired and relaxed enough to make around 7 hours of sleep. Remember that Ebringer himself was a promoter of red wine and lot of studies have shown that one or two glasses a day is life lengthening.
Above that alcohol will get very quick into the bloodstream, directly from the stomach, no intestines needed. Of course moderation is needed.
Enjoy, Gerard
