My wife and kids need some cyber hugs and thoughts/prayers right now (okay, me too, but I'm a big strong firefighter and will never admit it). My wife's father died unexpectedly tonight about 10:30 pm. I have cancelled my Atlanta trip and am taking the next few days off from work to get things sorted. I know you guys will be sending good thoughts and/or prayers. My daughters are really going to miss Grandpa Bill. I haven't figured out how to tell them quite yet. My wife was Bill's only child and is taking it very hard (understandably). I have just got her to bed now. It's almost 3 am.
I have to meet a colleague at 6:30 to let him know that he's going to Atlanta by himself, I might as well stay up at this point.
